We don’t just do heating we can offer a full bathroom service from initial consultation to planning to quotation and then installation.
We have excellent knowledge of the different plumbing products that are on the market so we can specify the most appropriate products to go into specific bathroom types allowing for various water systems, bathroom sizes, bathroom styles, new technology and restricted access requirements if required.
On this particular project we removed everything including the plasterboard on the stud walls as it was either poorly attached to the stud work or it had come away when the old tiles were removed.
All of the walls were made good before tiling to make sure all the cuts could be straight, they were also made water tight with a tanking kit around the bath before tiling as well as using waterproof adhesive and grout.
The ceiling was plastered after some boxing for the lights had been removed ready for new down lights to be installed.
A nice feature that we suggested to the customer was to have a recessed tiled shelf in some boxing at the end of the bath for shampoo and shower gel bottles, a tidy storage solution which is easy to clean.
This boxing stretched across the back wall so we could install a concealed cistern for the toilet and conceal all of the pipework form the bath, basin and toilet.
Two of the walls were completely tiled from floor to ceiling with the other walls painted with a moisture resistant paint.
A new chrome towel rail was fitted next to the bath.
